Three state rooms of which the State Drawing Room is most important with its fine plaster ceiling and mantelpiece dating from 1623. One of the earliest examples of English Renaissance style, the exterior of the house is particularly fine. The ground floor rooms are also open when not in use for functions, and they house a selection of paintings of the locality. These rooms are 19thC in style and recently restored.
